Abstract. The article considers danger and its basic forms: threat and risk. The author with reason believes that, on the one hand, danger in its diversities registers a variety of factors, which cause anxiety and confusion of the subject of management forcing him/her to energy consumption for saving significant values ??and the existing way of life. On the other hand, it advertises essence that is immediately noticed and the detection of the specific properties of the controlled object. Thirdly, it consolidates different levels of undesirable consequences for safety.
