FAMILY-MARITAL RELATIONS AND ETHNOCULTURAL PRACTICE AMONG MIGRANT WOMEN IN THE REPUBLIC OF TATARSTAN

Abstract. The article considers issues concerning the problems of the adaptation of migrant women into host society (by the example of the Republic of Tatarstan). In this context we study the structure of family-marital relations and ethno-cultural practices among migrant women. The author substantiates the thesis that women in migrant communities are poorly integrated into host society, and focus on the performance of gender and family roles mainly dominates in their environment.
