Abstract. The article studies the policy of the People’s Republic of China in the countries of Tropical Africa. The diplomatic, economic and educational activity of official Beijing aimed at turning Africa into a raw material supplier for the Chinese industry and a product market of consumer goods is analyzed. The author comes to the conclusion that China and the African countries, having different strategic and tactic aims, are mutually interested in many-sided cooperation.
