Abstract. The article examines the nature of creativity, touches on the peculiarity of the basic paradigms of creative process developed in the history of religion, art and philosophy. To understand the mystery of creativity researchers usually rely on the concepts "super-consciousness", "consciousness" and "the unconscious", which allow identifying the source of creative impulse and the forms of its materialization. The author concludes on the necessity to develop the integral model of creative process transforming spiritually the human him(her)self.
