ON THE ISSUE OF THE VISIGOTHIC-FRANKISH RELATIONS IN THE FIRST THIRD OF THE VI CENTURY

Abstract. The history of the Visigothic Kingdom being at the turn of the Antiquity and the Middle Ages is studied rarely by domestic and foreign researchers. This article is devoted to the history of the Visigothic Kingdom after the loss of the most part of Aquitaine by the Visigoths in the war of 507. In this regard special attention is paid to the Visigothic-Frankish relations and associated events during the reign of the Visigothic King Amalaric (526-531).
