PROSPECTS FOR DEVELOPMENT OF THE SOVIET-CHINESE RELATIONS AS THEY ARE REPRESENTED IN DISSIDENT PUBLICISM OF THE USSR OF THE 1960-1970S

Abstract. The article analyzes the conceptions of the USSR dissidents on the prospects for the Soviet-Chinese relations. The research is based on the studies of the dissident publicism of the 1960-70s. The author concludes that pessimistic expectations dominated among the Soviet intellectual elite of the mentioned period. The major representatives of the dissident movement - A. I. Solzhenitsyn, A. D. Sakharov, P. A. Medvedev and A. A. Amalrik - predicted further aggravation of the Soviet-Chinese relations assuming possible military conflict between the largest socialist countries.
