SOCIAL AND PHILOSOPHICAL ASPECT OF MODERN CRITICISM OF SCIENTIFIC RATIONALITY

Abstract. The article is devoted to analyzing the modern criticism of scientific rationality, which touches not only the traditional ontological and methodological principles of science, but also its social aspect, by the means of philosophical reflection. The authors believe that in the post-modernist theories of modern society as well as in the social theories of "late modernism", "incomplete modernism", "society of risk" the critical analysis of scientific rationality not only carries a destructive potential, but also contains the constructive versions of understanding modernity.
