CONCEPTIONS OF STUDYING HUMANITY AS SOCIAL-PHILOSOPHICAL PHENOMENON

Abstract. The article considers the theory of "system view of the world" by L. E. Grinin; the conception of morality by G. N. Gumnitsky, the essence of which is to determine morality as the basis for the development and survival of mankind; the conception of humanity by V. A. Kuvakin that stresses the need to take into account man’s connection with nature and society in the study of the humane qualities of human nature. The conclusion is made, according to which these conceptions allow studying humanity as a social and philosophical phenomenon.
