SOCIAL SUPPORT OF STATE OF AUTOCHTHONIC POPULATION OF THE FAR EAST OF RUSSIA AT THE TURN OF THE XIX-XX CENTURIES

Abstract. The article provides an analysis of the measures of the social support of the state of the autochthonic population of the Far East of Russia in the second half of the XIX - at the beginning of the XX century. The author identifies the basic trends of the activity of the Russian authorities in the sphere of the registration and control of the natives, characterizes medical service for this category of persons, focuses on the basic reasons for the poor organization of this process. Special attention is paid to measures aimed to solve the problem of the alcoholization of the Far East natives.
