ELECTORAL PREFERENCES AGAINST THE BACKGROUND OF EVENTS IN UKRAINE AT THE END OF THE 2013 - 2014: SOCIOLOGICAL ASPECT

Abstract. The article examines the change of electoral preferences, the level of the popularity of the leaders of the USA, Russia, Great Britain, France and Germany against the background of political crisis in Ukraine. The author conducted the secondary analysis of the data of sociological surveys from the beginning of Euromaidan to November 2014. The researcher identifies political leaders, for whom the Ukrainian crisis promoted the growth of popularity, and for whom it reduced their rating to minimal levels. The paper specifies temporal beneficiaries (in electoral sense) from the political crisis in Ukraine.
