PROBLEM OF CONSCIOUSNESS IN THE CONTEXT OF STUDYING ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

Abstract. The article analyzes the problematic of consciousness in the context of its importance for the study of artificial intelligence. The author considers modern approaches to the problem of consciousness, and identifies the characteristic features and differences of natural and artificial intelligence. Basing on the study of this problem the author makes a few assumptions about the meaning of artificial intelligence technology for the future of mankind as a whole, and an individual personality.
