Abstract. The article considers the issues of the legal regulation of the activities of the participants of the reduced form of inquiry. The problems of the procedural provision of the suspect, the victim, the investigator arising from inquiry in reduced form are revealed. The author analyzes the positions of processualists, who studied this institution in their works; and puts forward a number of proposals for the elimination of problems associated with the regulation of the activities of the participants of the reduced form of inquiry.
