Abstract. The study of gender values in relation to the theory and practice of domestic education is directly connected with feminism intensification in the renewed forms of West European philosophical discourse against the background of the gradual modification of the basic value norms. The necessity of the comprehension of the impact of gender theory on the formation of the world outlook of the young generation is highlighted. Attention is paid to the socio-cultural specificity of gender approach in upbringing based on the principles of tolerance and partnership.
