Abstract. The article conducts the comparison of the eastern, western and Russian models of religious world perception. The peculiarities of the interrelations of spiritual and secular authorities are shown. The idea is substantiated that each model of religious world perception not only forms the multi-aspect sides of people’s spiritual self-consciousness, but also influences the social-legal mode of life. The models of religious world perception reflect the specificity of the formation and evolution of human communities, indicate directions in the development of stable social connections and the orienting points of spiritual existence.
