HISTORIOGRAPHY OF "THAW" PERIOD (1953-1964) ON EFFICIENCY OF LABOUR DURING THE FIRST FIVE-YEAR PLANS

Abstract. The article deals with the experience of understanding by the historiography of the "thaw" period (1953-1964) the problems of labor efficiency during the first five-year plans. The works by S. R. Gershberg, V. Z. Drobizhev, V. S. Lel’chuk, A. M. Panfilova, R. Ya. Khabibulina, A. F. Khavin are analyzed. The author points out that the possibilities of the deeper analysis of the processes of industrialization during the first five-year plans, which opened in the "thaw" period, were used by the Soviet historiography to a large degree. The research horizon of the historians was substantially expanded due to the attention to the regional and branch profile of industrial transformations and to their organizational and socio-psychological context.
