FOLKLORE AND COMPOSER: PROFESSIONAL LULLABY IN TATAR FOLK ART

Abstract. The article aims to examine a poorly investigated phenomenon - the transformation of an author’s original work in folk art. The analysis-comparison of the lullaby "Kyzyma" by J. Faizi with the folk versions allowed identifying the basic types of musical means for its folkloric interpretation. The author introduces new data from the life and creative work of the poets M. Jalil and A. Iskhak, the composer J. Faizi into scientific use. The paper applies to the field notes of the author and other ethno-musicologists, archival materials and other publications. The article is of interest for the researchers, who study the principles of folk musical thinking.
