Abstract. The article deals with the issue of modern cultural interaction between the peoples and the preservation of the cultural originality of ethnic groups in the context of the ongoing integration and globalization processes. The authors believe that in these social and civilization conditions it is necessary to preserve the existing cultural originality, which would mean the preservation of the identification of the people. The destruction of ethnic identification is dangerous for a single subject, as it faces the prospect of the loss of historical roots and, as a consequence, of the destruction of the personality.
