OIL AND GAS EDUCATION IN TATARSTAN: RETROSPECTIVE ANALYSIS

Abstract. The article examines the historical conditions and necessary prerequisites of the appearance of the system of oil and gas education in the south-east of Tatarstan; the peculiarities and main directions of training skilled personnel for the oil industry are analyzed. The issues of the high-performance provision of the production with the specialists of oil professions of broad spectrum are considered. Special attention is paid to the demographic and ethnographic processes having taken place in the region in the 1950s, and also to the industrial and social problems of the development of Tatarstan.
