Abstract. The article examines the activity of the Ufa eparchial clergy on organizing assistance to wounded soldiers, their families and refugees in the years of the First World War. The eparchial clergy took pains to organize fund-raising for the army, to open hospitals for wounded soldiers, who arrived in Ufa province, to provide housing and everything required to the families of the soldiers and refugees. The provincial clergy took an active part in the education of patriotic feelings in the society through missionary activity.
