ORGANIZATION OF RUSSIAN MANAGEMENT OF THE BASHKIRS AT THE END OF THE XVIII - IN THE FIRST HALF OF THE XIX CENTURY

Abstract. The article discusses the final stage of the formation of the Russian administrative system in Bashkiria, when the Russian government turned from the transformation of traditional institutions to the introduction of a special paramilitary administrative model and the expansion of the empire-wide terms in the region. The gradual adaptation of Bashkiria to the all-Russian management system ended with the destruction of the local administrative peculiarities by the 1860s.
