EURASIAN IDEA OF NURSULTAN NAZARBAYEV: FROM THEORY TO PRACTICE

Abstract. The article is devoted to the modern development of Eurasian idea and its promotion by the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev. The author considers the project of the Eurasian Union (EAU), which was put forward by the leader of Kazakhstan in 1994, and analyzes the texts of his speeches and papers devoted to the formation of the EAU and Eurasian integration. Basing on the received data this paper shows the evolution of the ideas of Kazakhstan leader related to Eurasianism and integration processes in Eurasian space.
