MERCHANT TOWN AS FIELD OF EVERYDAY CULTURE OF COMMERCIAL-INDUSTRIAL STRATUM OF SIBERIA

Abstract. The author examines one of the categories of the culturology of everyday life - space. The subject of the paper is a merchant town as macro-space of the everyday culture of Siberian merchants of the Russian Empire. The paper focuses on culturological urban space design by the tools of the "theory of field" by P. Bourdieu. As a result the author identifies the opposition "inhabited/adopted" field promoting the construction of the Siberian merchant town as the field of everyday life.
