CONVERGENCE OF INTERESTS OF STATE, BUSINESS AND SPORT AS A RESULT OF TRANSFORMATION OF INTERNATIONAL SPORTS MOVEMENT

Abstract. The article sets a task to define the role of political and economic factors in the transformation of international sports movement. The author analyzes the causes, mechanisms and consequences of the politicization and commercialization of sport and comes to the conclusion that as a result of the natural convergence of the interests of state, business and sport international sports movement loses its independent character and turns into a political and business process. However in return it acquires new resources for the development in the form of additional finance and interest on the part of mass media.
