INFLUENCE OF REFORMATION ON THE SYSTEM OF TRAINING OF SCIENTIFIC BRAINPOWER

Abstract. The article reveals the peculiarities of the historical development of European universities in the age of Reformation. The consequences of Reformation for the university system are analyzed including the training of scientific brainpower. As a result of the change of external factors: the division of single Church, the separation of Church from the state, the change of the world outlook and growing ambitions of the feudal lords and rulers, transformations within the university began. Those were the appearance of scientific organizations alternative to the university, the change of the hierarchy of faculties and other structural transformations, the decline of the prestige of academic degrees and the change of their academic significance.
