COOPERATIVE IDEAS OF RUSSIAN EDUCATORS (THE FIRST QUARTER OF THE XX CENTURY)

Abstract. The article examines the cooperative ideas of the famous Russian educators S. T. Shatsky and P. P. Blonsky; the implementation of cooperation in their pedagogical and scientific activity is shown. The views of S. T. Shatsky on the role of cooperation in the labour education of children and the collaboration of the school and cooperatives on training future cooperators are characterized. The ideas of P. P. Blonsky on cooperation, his understanding of the essence of the unified labour school are stated, his thoughts on cooperating children’s labour and views on the future society school are reflected.
