SHAMANISTIC RITUALS, MEDITATION AND PRAYER AS MYTHOLOGICAL AND RELIGIOUS VARIANTS OF SPIRITUAL PRACTICE

Abstract. The article is devoted to the philosophical understanding of the ancient manifestations of spiritual practice in mythology and religion. The author considers the key concepts of the theme: shamanistic ritual, meditation, prayer as mythological and religious variants of spiritual practice. The world outlook and cultural sources of the phenomenon of shamanistic ritual are identified. Special attention is paid to the analysis of the specificity and difference between such forms of spiritual practice in religion as meditation and prayer.
