INTERIORS OF CHURCH OF OUR SAVIOR ON NEREDITSA IN THE CREATIVE WORK OF P. I. PETROVICHEV

Abstract. The article is devoted to the creativity of the painter Pyotr Ivanovich Petrovichev. The artist worked in different genres, and this investigation is dedicated to the pictures with the interiors of the Church of Our Savior on Nereditsa. The author identifies the works showed at the exhibitions from 1898 till 1923. The researcher focuses on the picture exhibited at the end of 1911, analyzes its existence, makes an art criticism analysis of some works, reveals the peculiarities of the artist’s pictures: pictorial technique, composition, primer, colouring.
