PLACE AND ROLE OF RESEARCH ACTIVITY IN INNOVATIVE SEARCH OF OUTSTANDING NATIONAL EDUCATORS IN THE FIRST YEARS OF THE SOVIET POWER

Abstract. In the article the contribution of the eminent educators of the 20s of the XX century to the development of the theory and practice of the research activity of the teacher is considered. N. K. Krupskaya, S. T. Shatsky, P. P. Blonsky and A. S. Makarenko supported and developed the views and beliefs of their predecessors. They paid special attention to the development of such directions of the research activity of the teacher as the study of the child’s personality, research teaching and providing pupils with the methods of scientific cognition.
