LAND REFORM AND ITS REALIZATION IN KRASNODAR KRAI (1991 - THE BEGINNING OF THE 2000S)

Abstract. In the article the process of land reform realization in Krasnodar Krai in 1991 - at the beginning of the 2000s is revealed. The analysis of federal and regional legislation, which regulated land relations in the stated period, is given. It is shown that in the process of the reformation a large number of the owners of land shares appeared in the region and this led to the widespread occurrence of agricultural lands rent. It is noted that the concentration of land was in the agricultural elite’s possession, and the considerable part of rural workers lost their land shares in the Krai.
