POLICY OF SOVIET POWER IN RELATION TO THE POLISH POPULATION OF WESTERN SIBERIA (THE FIRST HALF OF THE 1920S)

Abstract. The article examines the problems of implementing the policy of the soviet power in relation to the Polish population of Western Siberia in the first half of the 1920s. The author’s attention is focused on the issues connected with the activity of the Polish communist groups among the Polish population of the region, the repatriation of the Poles. In particular, the paper emphasizes that the Polish communists used various forms in their work: meetings, gatherings, clubs and periodical press. The researcher identifies that the Polish communist groups in Siberia at that moment were very small and their influence on the population was restricted.
