MAIN STAGES OF NATIONAL ANIMALISTIC ART DEVELOPMENT. WAYS OF EVOLUTION

Abstract. In the article the peculiarities of the national animalistic art development of the XVIII-XX centuries, the genre formation, its specific features and evolution with time, the character of the artistic image in various types of visual art are revealed. It is noted that the new age oriented to aspiration for scientific knowledge determined the peculiarities of animalistic pictures. The animalistic image was formed in the system of the academic education of the XVIII-XIX centuries. The author emphasizes the significance and advantages of sculpture in the realistic interpretation of the animal of the XX century.
