FIGURATIVE WORLD OF E. K. GOLUBEV’S MEMORIAL QUARTETS

Abstract. The article is devoted to the string quartets In memoriam of E. K. Golubev, one of the prominent figures of the national musical art of the XX century. As a result of the analysis of nine memorial bow ensembles of the composer, the author reveals the peculiarities of their figurative substance and emotional content, notes the originality of musical language and the means of artistic expressiveness. E. K. Golubev’s quartets-remembrances are an essential part of the composer’s creativity, at the same time they are a considerable contribution of the native artist of the XX century to the epitaph tradition of the genre proceeding from P. I. Tchaikovsky and N. Y. Myaskovsky.
