EPOS OF BALLAD - ORIGINAL PHENOMENON OF THE UKRAINIAN FOLK-PROFESSIONAL PERFORMANCE

Abstract. In the article the influence of the epic environment of folk musicians-professionals on the development of the cultural-creative processes of their own time is revealed. Ballads are considered as an original phenomenon in the Ukrainian folk-song epics, which form a separate layer of astrophic epics. The objects of this research are the epic environment of kobza and lyre players that marks the formation of professionalism in folk art, the characteristic of various types of epic performers and the international tendencies of their activity.
