THE SIBERIAN RAILWAY MEDICAL DEPARTMENT DEVELOPMENT AT THE BEGINNING OF THE XX CENTURY

Abstract. The author considers the process of the Siberian railway medical department development at the beginning of the XX century on the basis of archival sources and accounting materials. The analysis of available material allows determining the problems of its functioning and tracing the results of the railway administration’s activity in relation to medical care quality perfection. Special attention is paid to the issue of health localities extent reconsideration and the characteristic of the main medical institutions of the Siberian railway that were the indicators of medical service development.
