PROBLEM OF AUTONOMY AND INHERENT WORTH OF ORDINARY CONSCIOUSNESS IN I. KANT’S PHILOSOPHY

Abstract. The article reveals the role of I. Kant in the substantiation of the idea of the autonomy and inherent worth of ordinary consciousness in relation to science and philosophy. This idea resulted from Kant’s proposition that consciousness is not a simple reflection of reality, but is formed, constructed and created by a human being him(her)self on the basis of the application of the unique cognitive abilities of imagination, sensitivity, mind or intellect in practical or speculative area.
