SPECIFICS OF METHODOLOGICAL SITUATION IN MODERN AXIOLOGY

Abstract. The article touches on the problem of the methodological contradictions of modern axiology in the context of general methodological situation in social and humanitarian cognition. The author pays special attention to the group of the methodological problems of axiology conditioned by its special many-sided subject of research. The paper analyzes methodological pluralism in the interpretation and typology of values. The existence of the methodological contradictions of axiology turns the issues of the systematization of theoretical constructions into a major problem requiring the revision of the methodological apparatus of non-classical axiology.
