PECULIARITIES OF GENRE CLASSIFICATION OF THE EVENK MUSICAL FOLKLORE

Abstract. In the article different approaches towards the genre classification of the Evenk musical folklore are considered. In the classifications suggested by scientists of various scientific specialties the author identifies musical genres proper. The dispersity of the Evenks’ settlement and close interethnic relations with the neighbouring Turkic, paleo-Asiatic, Yeniseian peoples influenced the genre peculiarity of the musical folklore of different local groups of this nomadic ethnos, which was reflected in the difference of the names and stylistic originality of musical genres.
