EFFICIENCY OF APPLICATION OF LEGISLATION REGULATING ISSUES OF EXPULSION OF FETUS AND INFANTICIDE IN THE RUSSIAN EMPIRE OF THE XIX CENTURY

Abstract. In the article the issue of the effectiveness of the legislation on the deliberate termination of pregnancy and infanticide in the Russian Empire in the XIX century is considered. As a result of the research the author comes to the conclusion about the low efficiency of both the legislation on the expulsion of fetus and infanticide and the degree of its application in this sphere, which requires further lawmaking with account of integrated approach.
