CATEGORY OF TIME IN MUSICAL CULTURE OF ANCIENT GREECE

Abstract. The propositions submitted for discussion in the article deal with time conceptions of the period of ancient Greece. The special feature of the paper consists in the attempt to analyze the ancient Greek temporal paradigm appealing to the musical tradition of the antiquity and identifying the influence of changing temporal views recorded, in particular, in the philosophical texts of the ancient Greek thinkers on this tradition.
