AGRICULTURAL COOPERATIVES IN THE YEARS OF NEW ECONOMIC POLICY: TENDENCIES AND CONTRADICTIONS OF DEVELOPMENT

Abstract. In the article on the basis of the package of various documents and materials, mainly archival ones, the problems and peculiarities of agricultural cooperatives development in the conditions of New Economic Policy are revealed. The main attention is drawn to the detection of the tendencies and contradictions in the cooperative policy of the state, which resulted in the full transfer into state ownership of cooperation in the country at the end of the 1920s. The social composition and size of agricultural cooperatives are analyzed.
