STONE ARROWHEADS OF SUGUNNAAKH SITE IN THE ARCTIC AREA OF YAKUTIA

Abstract. The article deals with stone arrowheads from Sugunnaakh site, which is one of the most extant ancient monuments of the first metallurgists of the Indigirka River in the arctic area of the northeast of Siberia. The area was populated in the II-III centuries AD, and people continuously lived there till the Russians came in the XVII century. The archaeological material that is extant due to permafrost is of enormous interest, and its introduction into scientific use is very important. Stone arrowheads with their typological variety of forms are the most numerous monuments.
