MAIN TYPES OF MODERN ECOLOGICAL ETHICS: ANTHROPOCENTRISM AND BIOCENTRISM

Abstract. In the article such main types of modern ecological ethics and ecological consciousness as anthropocentrism and biocentrism are compared. Proceeding from their different comprehension of the nature of a human being and civilization the author draws principal attention to the detection of their similarity. The coincidence of anthropocentrism and biocentrism is revealed first of all in their radicality, utopianism, the opposition of a human being phenomenon and the Universe phenomenon.
