HELMUT LACHENMANN’S ETUDE FOR PIANO "GUERO" AS A LABORATORY OF EXPERIMENTAL MUSIC

Abstract. The article reveals the development tendencies of the West European instrumental music of the 70s of the XX century. As a basis for the analysis the author has chosen the creative works of the contemporary German composer Helmut Lachenmann and one of the most experimental works composed by him - the etude for piano "Guero", which is popular among foreign performers, but hasn’t got proper attention in Russia. The article is one of the few researches of the German genius’ piano creativity presented in the Russian language.
