HISTORIOGRAPHY OF THE SECOND HALF OF THE 1980S ON PROBLEMS OF LABOUR EFFICIENCY IN THE YEARS OF REVOLUTION AND WAR COMMUNISM

Abstract. The article touches upon the experience of trying to comprehend the problems of labour efficiency in the years of revolution and war communism in the historiography of the age of perestroika. The works of G. A. Bordyugov, V. P. Buldakov, V. V. Kabanov, V. A. Kozlov, A. P. Logunov, S. A. Pavlyuchenkov, Yu. A. Polyakov are analyzed. The author shows that under new social conditions historians began revising the conceptual fundamentals of the Bolsheviks’ economic policy and drawing attention to formerly poorly covered facts in the sphere of labour relations. It is concluded that at that time the demolition of "canonical" reasoning on labour problems in the soviet economy took place.
