RURAL "WEAPON" IN THE RUSSIAN FIST-FIGHTING TOURNAMENTS AND BATTLES (CULTUROLOGICAL ANALYSIS)

Abstract. The paper investigates the specifics of the "weapon" of the Russian village (pitchfork, bludgeons, scythes, knives, shafts, sticks, sickles, axes, beaters). The author shows that the adoption of rural "weapon" was carried out through traditional labour, games and the Russian fist-fighting tournaments. The skill of fighting with rural "weapon" was the basis of weapons use by professional soldiers. The article describes the basic principles of the practical adoption of this "weapon" by contemporaries and the methods of defence from it.
