Abstract. The author sets the problem of the person’s comprehension and acquisition of his/her universality to the center of attention. Universality is attributively present in the person’s essence and variously perceived during his/her existence. The person opens him-/herself to the world and the world to him-/herself piecemeal, gradually and in turn. That is why universality is given to the person potentially and as the process that is constantly oriented to generality, perfection and completeness. The author makes the conclusion that the humaneness of the world is constantly established on the basis of universality perceived during social life.
