OMSK STUDENTS AS OBJECTIVE OF ACTIVITY OF STATE POLITICAL DIRECTORATE BODIES

Abstract. The article investigates the forms of the activity of the State Political Directorate bodies of Omsk in relation to students. The research testifies that state security bodies observed students through agents’ apparatus, identified opposition-minded students and removed them from higher education institutions, informed party organs about the social structure, living conditions, political attitudes and any oppositional statements of Omsk students. As a result of the activity of the State Political Directorate bodies, communist-minded students predominated in the higher education institutions of Omsk.
