Abstract. The article reveals the sources of modern society delusions. As a part of the study it was defined that the occurrence of delusions in modern society is determined by social transformations, the influence of emotional states and other factors. Main attention is emphasized on the fact that under the influence of delusions there is a shift of the system of values in society. The author suggests the ways of overcoming these delusions.
