CONCEPTION OF NOTHING AND PRINCIPLE OF REAL OPPOSITION IN KANT’S PHILOSOPHY

Abstract. The article analyzes the conception of nothing put forward by Kant in his early paper "Experience of Introducing the Conception of Negative Values into Philosophy". The author shows that nothing is developed by Kant through the principle of real opposition, the definitions of which, denying each other, are represented as positive ones. The paper claims that Kant’s conception of nothing is aimed at the dialectic understanding of the existence of all matter, which was later on developed in Hegel’s system.
Key words and phrases: понятие ничто, принцип реальной противоположности, реальное отрицание, отрицательная величина, соотносящаяся с собой негативность, conception of nothing, principle of real opposition, real negation, negative value, negativeness in correlation with itself
