ISSUES OF UNIVERSITIES DEVELOPMENT IN GLOBALIZATION CONDITIONS

Abstract. In the article the interpretation of the term globalization and different approaches to studying globalization phenomenon are revealed. The main threats, which have arisen before universities in view of globalization process intensification in last decades, are shown. They are increased competition in educational services market, the dissemination of "academic capitalism" phenomenon, the change of labour market forms and trial by identity.
